NOTE: On Public Viewing Nights there are signs indicating the way to the MPAS Facility.

Following the bitumen road to the right, towards the end the road briefly turns to gravel and then back to bitumen. The MPAS facility is at the very end of this road, and next to the Education Camp. The View below shows you the entrance to the MPAS viewing site...

These meetings are an informal way of learning more about the MPAS and it's activities and new members are always welcome. They are usually divided into two sessions separated by a coffee break.

The meetings are held at the Senior School, Peninsula School, Mt Eliza (Melways 105 F5), and start at 8pm.

Public Viewing Nights

Just to let everyone know, public viewing nights are held every first Friday of the month. Clear or cloudy nights the public viewing night goes ahead. Members man a number of telescopes of various sizes and types, and for those nights where the sky is cloudy, extended astronomical presentations are presented in the MPAS Viewing Centre.

So please come along and enjoy our nights sky.
