Planewave CDK 12.5

To minimize cabling between the top moving half of the scope and the fixed bottom half of the mount, I decided to install a 12v powered USB hub, a home made 12v power distribution board, and a dew heater controller upon the moving half. This provides only one USB cable, one 12v 10amp cable, and the ST4 cable as those traversing between the fixed and moving halves of the system. This image was taken before I was finished, as now these cables are bound together and looped to provide complete and free movement of the scope to all positions.

The power board includes 4 screw in sources, plus 2 cigarate style inputs, all points separately fused.

The camera mounted underneath, a DSI2 with Niikon zoom lens, is purely an electronic finder that works very well.
