Society monthly meeting recorded on 20210915 while COVID-19 restrictions prevented an in-person gathering to be held at The Briars Mount Martha observatory.
Meeting introduction and rundown of past month and upcoming events was given by the President, Dr. Peter Skilton.
A lecture then followed about “The Physics of Black Holes” by Prof. Chris Impey, Observational Cosmologist from the University of Arizona, courtesy of the Royal Institution, London.
Vice President, Mark Stephens, then presented “Sky for the Month”.
