MPAS Meeting May 2025

Society monthly meeting recorded on 20250521 at The Briars Mount Martha Observatory.

Meeting introduction was by the President, Dr. Peter Skilton.

Vice President, Chris Kostokanellis, was absent so his Astrophotographic challenge for the month slides were presented by the President.

Committee member, Dr. Guido Tack, then presented the Sky for the Month.

The main topic was “How the James Webb Space Telescope Was Designed”, by Dr. Mark Clampin, Astrophysics Division Director, NASA, Washington DC. This talk was from 19-Oct-2024 and is courtesy of the Royal Institution, London.
